MEDwhere is operated by Digital Tech Squad W.L.L., which is legally responsible for the Service. Digital Tech Squad W.L.L. is a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Fakhro Tower, Office 1414, Building 470, Road 1010, Block 410, Sanabis, Kingdom of Bahrain.

This Privacy Policy covers the MEDwhere mobile applications, the website medwhere.com and the partner portal (together, the “Service”), and should be read with our Terms and Conditions.

Requests:the text you type and the images you upload, such as product photos or prescriptions. Temporary device identifier: generated by your device’s operating system (iOS or Android), used only to link your requests to the app and to send you notifications. It may change if you reinstall or update the app. Location (optional): only if you allow it, to show nearby pharmacies. Technical data: device type, operating system, app version and diagnostic logs. Partners: branch information, account login details, published content and billing records. If you email us: your email address and message, used only to reply to you.

We do not ask public users for their name, email address, phone number or identity number.

Prescriptions:a prescription may contain personal and health information. Before uploading a prescription, you must cover your name, identity number and any other personal details not needed to identify the medicine. By uploading, you confirm that you have done so. If any such details remain visible, you are responsible for having shared them, and you agree that they will be shared with participating pharmacies and processed as described in this policy.

We use the data above to deliver your requests to pharmacies and show you their responses, to send you notifications, to read requests automatically (including prescriptions, with your consent), to keep the Service secure and improve it, and to produce aggregated, de-identified statistics about demand for healthcare products, which may be shared with third parties.

We do not sell your personal data.

Participating pharmacies:receive your request so they can respond. Our service providers: such as our hosting provider, Google and Apple, only to run the Service. Third parties: may receive aggregated, de-identified statistics only. Authorities: where required by law.

We keep request data for as long as needed to operate and improve the Service.

You can delete any request from your list in the app at any time.

To have a request deleted permanently, email [email protected] with the date and content of the request, ideally with a screenshot from the app. Once we confirm that the details match a request in our system, we will delete it.

We use reasonable measures to protect data, but no system is completely secure.

The Service is intended only for people aged 18 and over.

When you contact a pharmacy by phone or WhatsApp, or use maps, those services’ own terms and privacy policies apply.

We may update this Privacy Policy and will post the new version on this page.

This Privacy Policy is written in Arabic and English. If there is any inconsistency, the Arabic version prevails.
